Raised in Portland, Ashleigh is a Lincoln High School graduate. She received her bachelor’s degree in history from Northwestern University. Ashleigh brings more than twenty years of experience in management and resource development for educational and social change organizations, both locally and internationally. Ashleigh started her career in Cape Town, South Africa in 2000 as Project Manager of the Amy Biehl Foundation Trust. Overseeing a staff of 90 employees, Ashleigh led the Trust’s efforts to expand its programs to two additional cities in South Africa, then transitioned to the role of Managing Director and Trustee, stabilizing the Trust after the passing of one of its founders. Also in South Africa, Ashleigh consulted for the country's largest HIV/AIDS advocacy organization and established its first development department. Ashleigh moved back to Portland in 2007. After serving as a grant writing consultant for multiple local organizations, Ashleigh found a home at De La Salle North Catholic High School. Starting in 2014, Ashleigh served as Manager of Foundation Relations, was promoted to Director of Development in July of 2016, to Vice President of Advancement in July of 2017, and to Interim President in July of 2022. In addition to recruiting dozens of donors and business partners for De La Salle, she successfully led the school's recent $26 million capital campaign.

Originally from El Salvador, Maria graduated from City of Angels, an alternative high school in Los Angeles, and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in English from California State University, Los Angeles. Maria has more than 20 years of experience in schools and has served in multiple roles, including teacher, administrator, and coach. Maria originally joined De La Salle North in 2011 as an English teacher and then served as Vice Principal from 2014-2017. She briefly left the school to take on the directorship of LNESC Upward Bound in Vancouver but couldn't stay away for long, rejoining Knight Nation as a Spanish teacher in 2019. In August 2022, she was appointed Interim Principal.

Aiyana was born in Oakland, CA and attended a K-8 Catholic school similar to De La Salle North Catholic, a school with caring teachers and high expectations for growth, success, and achievement. Her family moved to Portland when she was a junior in high school and Aiyana graduated from Marshall High School, going on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Portland State University. While working as a case assistant at Stoel Rives, Aiyana supervised De La Salle’s Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) student workers. Aiyana joined De La Salle North Catholic in 2011 as a CWSP Coordinator and was promoted to Director of CWSP in 2013, in which capacity she served until 2016. After a brief hiatus, Aiyana returned to De La Salle as CWSP Director of Operations in 2018. She has a passion for giving our students exposure to opportunities they wouldn’t have without the Corporate Work Study Program.

James grew up in Portland and attended Jefferson high school, going on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Warner Pacific College. James is in his 10th year on the De La Salle North Catholic faculty and currently serves as Vice Principal for Student Life and as Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Previously, James served as Director of Admissions and Athletic Director. In 2019 James was named a Distinguished Lasallian Educator by the Christian Brothers Conference. The award recognizes educators who exemplify the ideals of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, Patron of Christian Teachers of Youth. His contributions to the school’s athletic program as basketball coach have included six state championship appearances in ten seasons and, in 2018 and 2019, state championships. In 2023, James was honored with the Lewis & Clark League Coach of the Year award.

A SE Portland native, Tim graduated from La Salle Prep in Milwaukie. Tim is now in his 40th year as a Lasallian educator with 20 years at La Salle and another 20 here at De La Salle. While at La Salle, Tim taught multiple English courses from English 1 to AP English, chaired the English Department, and coached soccer. After joining the staff of De La Salle in 2002, Tim served as the school's first Academic Vice Principal and, later, its third Principal from 2010 to 2021. In July 2022, Tim was appointed as De La Salle's first Director of Mission.

Chris grew up in The Dalles, attended The Dalles High School, and went on to graduate from Portland State Univerity with a BS in Business Administration. Chris spent the first ten years of his career as a for-profit corporate accountant. During those years, while working in New York, he had the opportunity to work for the Open Society Foundations and learned how nonprofit organizations can profoundly impact their communities. Eventually, he made a conscious decision to pursue his passion and officially shifted to the nonprofit world. He spent five years at the Oregon Community Foundation in its accounting department and then moved to the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation where he served nine years as CFO. In January 2023, Chris joined De La Salle North as Director of Finance and Operations.
